Professor António Bartolomeu Jácomo Ferreira is a distinguished Portuguese academic and researcher specializing in philosophy, bioethics, and neuroscience. His extensive career encompasses significant contributions to these fields through teaching, research, and leadership roles in various academic institutions.
Professor Jácomo earned his Doctorate in Philosophy and Letters from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in 2006. He also holds a Master's degree in European Studies from the same institution, with a thesis on "La Constitución Europea. Pormenores de una Polémica," completed in 2003. Additionally, he pursued postgraduate studies in Neurosciences at the University of Minho in 2012.
Throughout his career, Professor Jácomo has held various academic positions:
1. Coordinator-Researcher: At the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, he has been involved in research coordination, contributing significantly to the institution's academic endeavors.
